Artiature

We are located up on the second floor of B Block, right on 1st Street in Gopalapuram. If you know where the CC Bank is, we are just across the road from there. Artiature is a small setup. We don't have a massive staff or a lobby with a coffee machine. It’s mostly just us at our desks surrounded by samples and drawings. Gopalapuram is a nice part of town, relatively quiet compared to the main roads, which helps when we need to concentrate. We spend a lot of time looking at textures and colors. Sometimes we argue about where a cupboard should go or what finish looks right under different lights. It’s part of the process. We’ve been at No 10 for a while, and the stairs up to the second floor keep us moving. We do a lot of the planning here before we head out to see the actual sites. It’s not always glamorous work; there’s a lot of counting and checking prices to make sure things stay on track. We try to be sensible about how we use space. Being in a city like Chennai, every inch counts. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just help people get their interiors sorted out so they can actually live in them comfortably.
