Arihant Impex

Arihant Impex is located at No. 98 on Choolai High Road. If you know the area, you know how packed it gets with people and vehicles all day long. Our shop is right in the middle of that chaos. We deal with a lot of imports and exports, so there are always crates and pallets being moved around. The front door stays open most of the day to let some air in, which also lets in all the street noise and the smell of the nearby markets. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside because we try to stock as much as we can. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, and you usually need a ladder and some luck to find what you're looking for. It’s just a few of us working here, and we spend a lot of time on the phone or checking manifests. We don't have a website that works very well, so most people just call us or drop by the shop. We’ve known some of our customers for ten or fifteen years. We drink a lot of tea and talk to the delivery drivers while they wait for their paperwork. It isn't a high-tech operation, just a lot of manual tracking and moving boxes from point A to point B. It’s a bit messy and loud, but it’s our daily reality on Choolai High Road and we've gotten used to the fast pace of it.
