Archean Granites Ltd

Our place is called Archean Granites Ltd and we are over at Haveli, No. 2, on North Cresent Road in T. Nagar. This part of Chennai is always packed with people and there is a lot of energy on the streets. We handle the business side of granite here in this office. We have samples of stone sitting around on the shelves and even some on the floor so people can get a good look at the colors and the textures. It is an older building with a lot of character. We don't have a big, modern showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have a space that feels lived-in and busy. Most of our time is spent talking to suppliers or checking on where our shipments are currently located. Granite is a heavy business, so there is always some logistics problem to solve or a schedule to fix. We have a few fans going to keep the air moving during the hot afternoons. People from the neighborhood often walk past, and we have been here long enough that most of the other shop owners know us. It is a straightforward way to earn a living. We don't do any flashy advertising or anything like that. We just focus on the stone and making sure the orders are correct. It is a lot of paperwork and phone calls, but we like the rhythm of it.
