Arasan International Doors

Our workshop is located at No 37/73 in Baskar Colony, right off Kamarajar Salai in Virugambakkam. It’s a decent-sized space where we keep a lot of door frames and panels. The area is mostly residential around the colony, so it’s a bit quieter than the main road, but we still make our fair share of noise with the sanding and cutting. We spend most of our mornings unloading trucks or checking the finish on the wood. It’s a very practical environment. We have sawdust on the floor and various cans of varnish sitting on the shelves. It’s not a place where you’d wear your best clothes. We have a small office tucked in the corner with a fan that clicks and a few chairs for visitors. Most people who come by are looking for something sturdy for their homes. We show them what we have in stock and talk about the different types of wood we use. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a big marketing team; it's just a few of us making sure the doors are built right. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out the next morning. It’s just the way things go when you’re working with your hands. We like the feeling of finishing a piece and seeing it ready to be installed.
