Shadoz

You can find us at No. 155, up on the second floor. We are on Prakasam Salai, right near the Mannady Metro Station and Appu Mistry. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a breeze during the summer, but carrying heavy boxes up the stairs is a real chore every single time. Shadoz is a small place, nothing like those big offices you see in the city center. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us who know what we’re doing and get along well enough. The metro station nearby makes it easy for folks to drop in, though the rumble of the trains is always there in the background. We have some old chairs for visitors and a wooden desk that has definitely seen better days. The lighting is a bit dim in the corners, but we have plenty of lamps where it actually matters for the work. We do our daily tasks without making much of a fuss. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big project to finish, eating snacks from the small shop downstairs. It’s not a polished corporate office at all. There are stacks of paper and some old equipment that we probably should have thrown out years ago. We like it this way, though. It feels like home after you’ve been here a few years. Most of our neighbors in the building are friendly enough. We just keep doing our thing.
