A.P. Ranga Patterns

We are located at 121/50 on Rangarajapuram Main Road here in Kodambakkam. It’s a busy street, so there is always something going on outside A.P. Ranga Patterns. Our shop isn't very big, but we make use of every inch of space we have. We do a lot of pattern work, mostly for local needs. The smells of wood and resin are usually thick in the air. We’ve got our routine down. One person handles the cutting, another does the finishing. It’s a lot of manual labor. Kodambakkam is a place where people appreciate hard work. We aren't corporate people. We wear work clothes and our hands are usually stained with something. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to move materials in and out, but we manage. The shop floor is a bit uneven, but we know where all the bumps are. We don’t have a glossy brochure. If you want to see what we do, you just have to come by and look at the projects we are currently working on. We get all sorts of requests. Some are easy, some make us scratch our heads for a bit. We just take it day by day. It’s a living, and it keeps us busy. We like the local feel of the main road. You can get a good tea just a few doors down. We hope to stay here for a long time.
