Anuradha S K

Our office is in Mandavelipakkam, on 3rd Norton Road. The address can be a little tricky because it’s New No 13 but used to be Old No 5, and we’re near the Chindatripet area too. Anuradha S K is the architect here, and she handles most of the design work herself. The building is an older one, which gives the office a bit of a traditional feel. We have high ceilings and some old fans that hum while we work. It’s a quiet street for the most part, which helps when you need to concentrate on a complicated drawing. We have stacks of files and folders everywhere, mostly because we haven’t gotten around to digitizing everything from the past few years. We don't put on any acts here; it's just a place for planning and drafting. Clients come in and we sit around a simple wooden table to talk about their ideas. We usually have a few rolls of ammonia prints lying around, and the smell of ink is pretty common. Mandavelipakkam is a nice area with a lot of history, and we like that our office fits into that vibe. We spend a lot of time looking at site photos on the computer and then sketching out changes by hand. It’s a slow and steady process, but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the next set of plans we need to finish.
