Annoor Eye Hospital

Annoor Eye Hospital is at No. 11/2 on Francis Joseph Street. If you have ever been down to Parrys, you know how crowded it gets with all the shops and people moving around. We are right in the middle of all that activity. The street is narrow and sometimes it is a bit of a squeeze when deliveries are happening. Inside, we have the rooms set up for checking eyes and there are chairs for people to sit while they wait their turn. It is not a very big space but we make use of every corner we have. The floors are tiled and we spend a good amount of time sweeping out the dust that blows in from the street. Parrys is a place where everything is fast, but inside here we try to keep things a bit more quiet. We have some charts on the walls and the equipment is laid out in the back rooms. Most of us have been working here for a while now so we know the routine by heart. We get a lot of locals who live just a few streets over and they usually just walk in. The morning light hits the front of the building quite strongly. We just focus on getting through the day and making sure everyone gets their vision looked at properly without too much fuss or waiting around in the heat. It is just a normal day of work for us at the office and we try to keep it simple.
