Annai Ceramic & Tiles

We have been running things here at Annai Ceramic & Tiles for a good while now. Our shop is located at No 8, right across from the Radha Park Inn Hotel on the 100 Feet Road in Arumbakkam. If you know Jawaharlal Nehru Salai, you know how busy it gets with all the traffic and people moving around. Most of our days are spent moving heavy boxes of tiles and showing people different designs. We have stacks of ceramics everywhere you look. It is not a fancy place with air conditioning and soft music. It is just a regular shop where we keep a lot of stock for local building work. People come in looking for something specific for a bathroom or maybe a kitchen floor and we try to help them find it in the piles. The floor is usually a bit dusty from all the stone and ceramic pieces, but that is part of the job. We have been in this neighborhood long enough to see the buildings go up and down around us. The 100 Feet Road is always loud, so we have to talk a bit louder sometimes. We open early and usually stay until the sun goes down. It is a lot of physical work, lifting and carrying, but we are used to it by now. We don't do anything too fancy, just sell tiles to people who need them for their homes.
