Our office is right on Anna Salai, which is basically the heart of everything around here. Being No. 231 puts us directly opposite Spencer Plaza, so there is never a quiet moment. You can hear the buses and cars honking all day long. Aeroworld Travels India Pvt. Ltd. is where we handle all the flight bookings and travel plans people need. It’s a lot of sitting at phones and staring at computer screens for hours on end. People walk in off the street tired from the heat, looking for a way to get somewhere else. We have a few maps on the walls and plenty of chairs for folks to wait. The air conditioning is usually running full blast because it gets so humid outside. We don’t really have a big fancy lobby, just a desk where we talk to people about where they want to go. Managing international trips involves a lot of paperwork and checking dates over and over. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we just have to wait it out while chatting with whoever is in the office. It’s a busy life, but being in such a central location means we see a lot of different people every day. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, watching the shops across the street change while we stay the same. It’s just a regular travel office doing its work and trying to stay organized.
