Valluvar Overseas

We are over at No. 11 Elango Street in New Anna Nagar, which is part of the Thirumullaivayal area. It’s a bit of a residential spot, so it’s not as noisy as the main roads. Our office is a simple place where we handle all the overseas business. We’ve got enough space for our desks and a small area where we keep our files. The team here is just a few local folks who have been working together for a long time. We don't really have a receptionist or anything; whoever is closest to the door usually answers it. Most of the day involves checking schedules and making sure the documents are ready for the customs people. It’s a lot of routine stuff, but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. Elango Street is a nice place to work because it’s relatively calm, though it does get busy when schools are letting out nearby. We don't put much effort into looking corporate. We’d rather just focus on making sure the orders are processed correctly. Sometimes we have a bit of a laugh over tea, but mostly we stay focused on the tasks. It’s an honest living and we’ve been doing it from this same address for quite some time now. We know the neighbors and they know us, which makes for a good working atmosphere.
