Angle Export

Angle Export is based right on Kalathu Mettu Street. If you walk down No. 1/310, you’ll find us. It’s a narrow street, so when we have big loads coming in, it can get a bit tight for the drivers. We’ve been working from here for quite some time. The building is old but it stays cool enough in the afternoons. We aren't doing anything fancy here. We just buy stuff, pack it up, and send it off. Most of the day is spent on the phone or writing down numbers in our books. I like the neighborhood because everyone knows each other. If we need a hand moving something heavy, there’s always someone around. We don't have a website that’s updated every day or anything like that. We mostly just talk to people. Exporting is a strange business because you send things away and you never see them again. You just get a confirmation that it arrived. We have a small storage area in the back where we keep the supplies. Sometimes it gets a bit messy, especially when several shipments come in at once. We just try to get through the list and make sure we didn't miss anything. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down over the street. We keep our paperwork in those old blue binders and they are starting to get quite full of notes.
