Sethia Syndicate

Sethia Syndicate is located at 113 B Angappa Naicken Street. If you know this part of town, you know it’s a maze of old buildings and narrow paths. Our office is tucked away in there, and we’ve been using Post Box 1221 for as long as I can remember. The street outside is always full of people pushing carts or delivery bikes trying to squeeze through. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, but not by much. We have stacks of ledgers and old files everywhere because we haven't quite moved everything to the computer yet. It feels more real that way, having it on paper. The ceiling is high, and the walls have that old yellow tint that comes with time. We drink a lot of tea while we handle the daily trades. It’s a lot of phone calls and writing things down. We aren't trying to be the biggest outfit on the block. We just want to make sure the orders are handled correctly and the people we deal with are satisfied. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour, and we just sit by the window and watch the street until it comes back on. It’s part of the charm of working in an older district. We’ve seen many businesses come and go on Angappa Naicken Street, but we’re still here, doing our thing every day. It’s a long walk from the main road, but we like the location.
