This location is over at No. 6 Vanagaram Road in Ayanambakkam. It’s an interesting spot because it feels like it’s on the edge of the city. The road itself is always busy with people heading towards the industrial zones. We have a pretty large space here, which is necessary for the type of heavy equipment work we do. It’s not a fancy office with air conditioning in every corner. It’s more of a functional workshop and office combo. The floors are concrete and the windows are usually kept open to let a breeze in, even if it brings a bit of dust with it. Most of the guys here have been working with machinery for a long time. They know how everything sounds and can tell if something is off just by listening. We don’t have any slick brochures or anything like that. If someone visits, we just show them around the floor and explain things as they are. It’s a very hands-on environment. We have our tea breaks out by the gate usually. It’s a good time to catch up on what’s happening in the neighborhood. We don’t use any big fancy words to describe what we do. We just work on separation technology and make sure the units are built right. It’s a steady, day-to-day kind of business. We’ve been at this address for a while and we’ve become a part of the local landscape here.
