Anbu Clinic

We’ve been here at East Jones Road in Saidapet for quite some time now. It’s an old spot, number 64 it used to be, now it’s 38. The neighborhood has changed a lot but we just keep doing what we do every day. People come in from around the corner or from further down in Saidapet. It gets busy in the mornings when the sun is just coming up and the shops are opening. We open the doors, get the chairs ready, and wait for the first few people to walk in. Usually it’s the same faces we see every week. Sometimes someone new pops in because they saw the sign while walking to the station. We don't have fancy stuff here, just a plain room where we talk to people about their health. The traffic on the road can be a bit much sometimes, especially with the buses, but inside it stays mostly quiet. We try to keep things simple. If you live around here, you probably know the building. It’s nothing special to look at, just a regular place where people come when they aren’t feeling too good. We spend a lot of time just listening to what folks have to say about their aches and pains. That’s how the day goes. By the time evening rolls around, we’re finishing up and getting ready to do it all again tomorrow. It’s just how things work here on Jones Road.
