Anandha Kumaran Clinic

You will find our clinic at 300 TVS Avenue in the Anna Nagar West area. We are located very close to the Chennai Public School, which means it gets really busy around here when the school bell rings and all the kids are heading home. The clinic is a simple ground-floor setup. It is easy for older people to get into because there are no stairs. Inside, the space is divided into a small waiting area and the consultation room. We have some sturdy wooden benches for the patients and a small table with some old newspapers. The walls are a pale color and have been scuffed a bit over the years by people moving chairs around. It is a very unpretentious place. We do not use any fancy computer systems for appointments; we just write things down in a big diary. The fan on the ceiling wobbles a little bit when it is on the highest setting, but it keeps the air moving. We see a lot of the local residents from TVS Avenue and the nearby streets. It is the kind of place where people feel comfortable just walking in without an appointment sometimes. We do not have any corporate branding or sleek logos. It is just a neighborhood clinic where we do our daily work and try to help out the people who live nearby. Things are pretty casual and easy-going here.
