You can find us over at Regam Palm Garden in Velacheri. Our office is in Block-F, specifically 1-D, which is right on Tambaram Road. It’s a busy part of the city, so getting here can be a bit of a crawl during rush hour. The complex is actually quite nice once you get inside. We have been working out of this space for some time now, focusing on both architecture and interior stuff. We spend a lot of time thinking about how to make small Chennai apartments feel a bit bigger. It’s a lot of measuring and re-measuring. The office has samples of laminates and paint swatches sitting on every available surface. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have a few people over to discuss a project. We usually have the fan going full speed because the Madras heat doesn't spare anyone. Sometimes we walk over to the nearby shops for a quick break. Living and working in Velacheri means we understand the local issues, like the rain and the traffic. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just do the work, draw the plans, and talk to the carpenters. It is a very hands-on kind of business. The desks are usually covered in sketches and half-empty water bottles. It’s just a normal day-to-day routine for us here in the Ambiance block, just trying to get the drawings finished.
