Down on Gn Chetty Road in T Nagar, you’ll find Amber Pet Clinic. It’s usually pretty easy to spot because there’s often someone outside with a dog on a leash or a cat in a carrier. T Nagar is a very busy part of the city, and Gn Chetty Road is no exception. We opened this clinic because we noticed a lot of people in the area have pets but not enough places to take them when they get sick. The clinic isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit in everything we need to look after animals. It can get a bit noisy inside, especially if we have a couple of nervous dogs waiting at the same time. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anything like that. It’s just a counter where you sign in and wait your turn. The staff here really likes animals, which is why we do this. We see all sorts of pets, from tiny kittens to older dogs that have been with their owners forever. Sometimes the work is messy and the hours are long, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with animals. We try to be honest with owners about what’s going on with their pets. There’s no polished corporate vibe here, just a local vet clinic on Gn Chetty Road trying to help the pets of T Nagar stay healthy.
