Mil Industries Ltd. is located at 25 A in the Industrial Estate in Ambattur, Chennai. If you know Ambattur, you know how hot and busy it gets during the day. Our facility has been here for years, and it shows its age in a good way. We do a lot of industrial lining and rubber work, so there’s always a specific smell of materials in the air. The workspace is large and open, with various sections for different parts of the process. It’s not air-conditioned in the main area, so we rely on big ceiling fans that hum all day long. The office side is a bit cooler, but it’s still pretty basic. We have old metal cupboards full of records going back decades. Chennai’s weather can be tough, especially in the summer, but we just keep the water coolers full and keep going. The estate itself is a hub of activity, and we’re right in the middle of it. We have a lot of long-term employees who have been with us since they were young. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows their job and doesn't need much supervision. We don't have a glossy brochure or a modern lobby. It’s just a place where we come to work and get things done for the industries we serve every day. We’ve been part of this Ambattur community for a long time, and we plan to stay here for many more years as things change.
