Champion Building Lifting Service is located over on Elango Street, at Plot No. 105 in Mahakavi Bharathiyar Nagar. We do exactly what the name says. We pick up buildings when they are too low or if the foundations have issues. It’s a lot of heavy lifting. We do careful work with jacks and steel beams. We aren't sitting in an office much. Mostly we are out at sites getting our clothes dirty. We make sure things stay level. It can be stressful when you are moving someone’s house. But we have a way of doing it that works. The neighborhood around Elango Street is where we keep our equipment. We meet up there before heading out. It is a hands-on kind of life. We’ve seen a lot of different problems with houses around here. Sometimes it is flooding issues. Other times it is settling soil. Every job is a bit different. That keeps things interesting for the crew. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. We just have our tools and the experience we’ve picked up over the years. If a building is sinking or needs to be higher, we are the ones people call. It is tough work. It takes a lot of patience to move a structure inch by inch. We just take it slow. We make sure everything is safe before we finish up. The guys on the team trust each other.
