Ide Appliances

Ide Appliances is located at No. 71A Kamarajar 7th Street in the Tass Industrial Estate, Ambattur. We are basically on the same street twice in the address, which just means we are right in the heart of that area. It’s a busy industrial zone in Ambattur, and our workshop is always full of things being fixed. We have old refrigerators, stoves, and all sorts of household appliances lined up. Some are waiting for parts, and others are ready to go home. It’s a noisy place with the sound of tools and testing. The street outside is usually lined with delivery vans and motorcycles. We’ve been here for several years now, and the locals know us by name. Our hands are usually a bit greasy from working on motors or cleaning out filters. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Most of our space is taken up by workbenches and shelves full of spare parts we’ve collected over time. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific screw, but we usually manage. We drink a lot of coffee from the shop around the corner. The humidity in Ambattur can be tough, but we just keep the fans blowing and keep working. It’s a straightforward business. We fix things that are broken and try to make them last a bit longer for people. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we know how to do best in this neighborhood.
