Metal Craft

Over at G-7 in the Ambattur Industrial Estate, that’s where Metal Craft is located. It’s an old building, but it’s sturdy and serves us well enough for what we need. Ambattur is a loud place, full of the sounds of industry, and we’re right in the thick of it. We spend our days working with metal, as the name suggests. There’s always the sound of hammers or cutters going in the background. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. We usually have grease on our hands and dirt on our boots. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and we know the neighbors well. Everyone around here is just trying to make a living. We don't have any big slogans or goals other than finishing the work on our desks. Sometimes we stay late because a machine broke down and needs fixing, or we have a deadline breathing down our necks. We aren't perfect; we make mistakes sometimes, but we always fix them. It’s a practical way of running a shop. The office is just a desk in the corner with a lot of paperwork piled up on it. We prefer being out on the floor anyway. It’s where the actual work happens. If you need to find us, look for the G-7 sign. We’re usually there from early morning until the sun goes down, just getting through the daily list of tasks.
