Amass Shipping Pvt Ltd is based at Old No 139, New No 242, which is right opposite the High Court on Angappan Naicken Street in Parrys. It’s a very busy neighborhood, and the streets are always full of people and vehicles. Our office is in a spot that’s easy to find once you get used to the layout of Parrys. We’ve got a couple of rooms where we handle all the shipping paperwork and coordinate with the docks. The desks are usually covered in documents and coffee mugs. We’ve been at this address for some time, and we know the rhythms of the area pretty well. The morning starts with the sound of the city waking up, and it doesn't really quiet down until late in the evening. We spend most of our time dealing with the logistics of moving goods. It involves a lot of patience, especially when dealing with the various regulations and schedules. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just a handful of us doing the work. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up some files or wait for a call to come through from the port. We don’t really have any fancy gadgets, just the basics that we need to get the job done.
