Amaaj Travels & Xerox

Our little shop is Amaaj Travels & Xerox, and you can find us at New No 150 on Thambu Chetty Street. It’s an old building, number 256 originally, and we do a bit of everything here. Most mornings start with someone needing a quick copy of a document, so the Xerox machine gets a lot of use right away. Then there are the people who come in asking about travel stuff. We handle a mix of local bookings and some longer trips. It’s a bit of a tight space with the machine and the computer desk all in one room, but it works for what we do. Parrys is a crowded area, so we get a lot of foot traffic from people working in the nearby offices. They might pop in for a photocopy and then end up asking about a train or bus ticket for the weekend. We don't really do anything fancy here. It's just a practical place for folks who need things done fast. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the machine needs a bit of ink, but we manage. Thambu Chetty Street is always full of noise and people moving around, which keeps us busy. We just keep our heads down and handle the customers as they come. It’s a simple life running a travel and xerox place in this part of Chennai. You get to meet all kinds of people, from students to workers, and every day is a little different.
