You can find us over at Urmilla House, which is located on Eldams Road in the Alwarpet area. We are up on the third floor, at New No. 15, though some people still remember it as No. 9. Being in Ark Colony is actually quite pleasant because there are some nice trees around, which you don’t always get in the middle of Chennai. The Supreme Industries Limited has been in this office space for a while. It’s not one of those modern glass buildings; it has a bit more character than that. We spend a lot of our time dealing with paperwork and coordinating things from our desks. The lift in the building can be a bit temperamental sometimes, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. Alwarpet is a busy spot, and finding a place to park on Eldams Road can be a real struggle if you don’t get here early. We have a small team here, and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed for the most part. We don’t go in for all that corporate talk; we just focus on getting our tasks finished so we can go home. The office gets a lot of afternoon sun, so we usually have the blinds drawn to keep the heat out. It’s a decent place to work, and we like being close to all the cafes and shops in the neighborhood.
