We are over at No 1 Shanthi Nagar in Vyasarpadi. Chennai is always hot, and our office is no exception, though we have a couple of fans that stay on all day long. We deal with trading and agencies. It’s a lot of coordination with people in different places. The office isn't much to look at. It is just a single room with a couple of big wooden tables and a few old computers. We have stacks of invoices and shipping documents everywhere. Sometimes it feels like we are drowning in paper. Shanthi Nagar is a busy area, so there is always the sound of horns and people shouting outside our window. We don't have any sales people or a marketing team. We just handle the orders that come in and make sure the goods get to where they need to be. Most of our work is done over the phone or through emails. We know our regulars well. We have been in this spot for quite some time now. It’s a simple operation. We don't have a big corporate culture or anything like that. We just show up, do the work, and try to make sure nothing gets lost in transit. It’s a lot of checking and double-checking numbers. It can be boring some days, but it’s what we do. We like to think we are pretty reliable even if we are small. That’s about it for us.
