Alkwality Auto Accessories

Alkwality Auto Accessories is located at what used to be Old No 37, but is now New No 67. We are right inside the Jeyapradha Theatre Complex on G P Road in the Mount Road area. If you know Chennai, you know G P Road is the place for anything related to cars. It is a very busy street, always packed with vehicles and people looking for parts. Being in the theatre complex gives us a bit of a landmark, though the theatre itself isn't what it used to be. Our shop is full of all sorts of things for cars, from floor mats to lights and other small bits and pieces. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand. You have to watch your step sometimes. We’ve been here for years, watching the shops around us change owners. The heat on Mount Road can be quite something in May, so we usually have a few fans going all day. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that. It’s just the shop counter and the rows of accessories. People come in looking for specific things, and we do our best to find them in the stacks. Sometimes we are chatting with the other shopkeepers on the lane when things are quiet. It’s a community of people who all know the trade. It’s just a regular business on a very famous road.
