Akshat Garments

We’ve been here at Plot No 48 in the Macro Marvel Riverview County area for a while now. Manapakkam is a quiet spot, and our building fits right in with the neighborhood. Akshat Garments is basically just a group of us working with fabric and thread every single day. We spend most of our mornings checking the latest batches of clothes that come in. Some days it is hectic with boxes piled up near the entrance, and other days we just sit and organize the shelves. It’s not a fancy place, but it works for what we do. People around here know where to find us if they need something specific. We don't really do much advertising because the work usually speaks for itself. The machines make a lot of noise when they are all running at once. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or work on the hand-sorting. It is just a normal local business. We handle everything from checking the seams to making sure the sizes are marked correctly on the labels. If you walk past the Riverview County gate, you’ll likely see our staff moving stuff around. We just try to get the orders ready on time so nobody is waiting too long. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we are used to the rhythm of the shop now. Most of the guys have been here since we started and they know exactly how I like things done around the place.
