You can find us at No.C-486 on 46th Street in Ashok Nagar. Airtronic Gauges & Instruments Pvt.Ltd. is a bit different from the big heavy industries you see elsewhere. Our work is much quieter and requires a lot more sitting down. We deal with small gauges and various instruments, so the shop is filled with workbenches and tiny tools. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so many parts tucked away in drawers and on shelves. The lighting has to be good, so we have these bright lamps over every station. Ashok Nagar is a decent area, a bit more relaxed than the industrial zones, though the street can get crowded with parked cars. We spend our days squinting at dials and making sure the needles move exactly like they should. It’s precise work, and you can’t really rush it or you’ll mess something up. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to break the silence. Most of us have been here long enough that we know where every single screw and spring is kept. We don't have a big fancy lobby; people just walk straight into the work area usually. Coffee breaks are the highlight, usually someone goes out to the corner shop to get a round for everyone. It’s a steady, calm environment where we just focus on the task at hand. No one is in a huge hurry, but the work always gets done.
