You can find us at 20/63 on Wuthucattan Street in Periamet. Periamet is a place with a lot of history, especially if you are in our line of work. The streets are narrow and always full of people carrying bundles or pushing carts. Our office is a modest space where we have spent many years. It is the kind of place where the walls are covered with old calendars and the furniture has seen better days, but it works for us. We handle a lot of different things throughout the week, mostly focusing on the leather trade that this area is famous for. There is a lot of back and forth with suppliers and buyers, and someone is always coming in for a chat or a quick cup of coffee. We do not use any fancy systems to keep track of our work; a lot of it is still done with pens and ledgers because that is what we are comfortable with. The humidity in this part of town can be tough, especially during the monsoon when the streets get a bit flooded, but we just keep going. It is a family-run kind of vibe here even if we aren't all related. We know the neighbors and they know us. It is just how life is on Wuthucattan Street.
