Ahk Clinic

Ahk Clinic is at New No 47, which used to be Old No 327, on Alagirisamy Salai in K K Nagar. The whole business with the old and new numbers can be a bit confusing for people who haven't been here before. We often have to explain it over the phone when someone is trying to find us. K K Nagar is a well-known area, but this specific street can get pretty crowded with parked scooters. The clinic is a modest setup. We have a desk for the registrations and a small space for the doctor. The tiles on the floor are a bit dated, maybe from the eighties, but they are easy to mop. We keep a big water jar in the corner for anyone who gets thirsty while they wait. The curtains are a simple blue color and they help block out the bright sun in the afternoons. Sometimes the street noise from Alagirisamy Salai is quite loud, especially when the school nearby lets out. We just carry on with our tasks regardless. The staff here has been together for a while, so we know how each other works without having to say much. It’s a local clinic for local people, nothing more and nothing less. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical place where people can come when they need us. It’s a small, steady operation that keeps us busy throughout the week.
