Afl Pvt Ltd (Logistics Division)

Our logistics division for Afl Pvt Ltd is located over at the YMCA on Halls Road in Kilpauk. If you know Chennai at all, you know that Kilpauk is a busy place to be. We’re at number 52, and the area is always filled with traffic and people moving around. Being based at the YMCA gives us a bit of a landmark, which helps when people are trying to drop off documents or find our office. We’ve been in this spot for a good while. The rooms are a bit older, and the fans hum constantly to keep the heat at bay. It’s a simple setup—lots of paper, computers that are a few years old, and a lot of coffee being drank. We don’t have a lot of corporate polish here. We just focus on the logistics side of the company and try to make sure everything runs as it should. Chennai weather can be tough, especially in the monsoon season when the roads get flooded, but we just adapt. Some of us have been working here for years, so we’ve seen all sorts of changes in the city. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We’re just a group of people working in transport and trying to stay organized. It’s busy and often stressful, but we manage to get through the week together. The 52 Halls Road address has become like a second home.
