Our office for Aevum Consulting Services Private Limited is situated in Kodambakkam. Specifically, we are at Skanda Nivas, which is New 24 or Old 15, depending on who you ask. It is on the 1st Street in Subramaniamnagar. Kodambakkam is always busy with the trains and the traffic, but our street is a little bit tucked away from the heaviest noise. We have got a small space here in Chennai-600024. It feels like a lived-in part of town, which is nice. We are not in one of those huge tech parks. Instead, we are in a building that has a bit of character. The name Skanda Nivas sounds a bit traditional and that fits the vibe of the street. Every morning we see the same people walking to the station or kids heading to school. It makes working here feel more like being part of a real community. We have our desks set up and we just get on with the consulting work. It is not always organized perfectly, but we know where everything is. The fans are usually running because it gets quite warm in this part of Tamil Nadu. We do not have any big signs or fancy lobby areas. It is just us in a room with some computers and a lot of papers. We like being in Kodambakkam because everything you need is just a short walk away. We just try to finish our work and avoid the rush hour.
