Our little office is up on the third floor of the K R J Building on Welder Street. It is right off the main stretch of Mount Road so it is not too hard to find if you know where to look. We have been working out of this spot for a while now and it has become like a second home to the few of us who work here. The elevator in this building has a mind of its own so we often just take the stairs which is good exercise I suppose. Inside it is mostly just desks and a whole lot of tech parts scattered around because we are always tinkering with something. It is not the cleanest place you will ever see but we know exactly where every tool and wire is kept. We do not go in for any of that corporate decor or fancy lighting. We just have some basic tube lights and the windows that look out over the street. When it rains you can hear it hitting the glass really loud and that is usually when we stop for a tea break. The neighborhood is full of small shops and workshops so there is always a lot of noise and activity outside. We just show up every morning and get to work on whatever project is on the table. It is honest work and we do our best to stay on top of things without making a big deal out of it. We just keep our heads down and work on our tasks until the day is done.
