Accurate Steel Forgings (India) Limited

Down at DP No. 33 in the SIDCO Industrial Estate in Thirumzhisa, things stay pretty loud. We are Accurate Steel Forgings (India) Limited, though most people just know us by the sound of the hammers. Being in the Thiruvallur district, we’re a bit away from the main city, but the estate is always full of life. Forging steel is a tough job. It’s hot, it’s noisy, and it requires a lot of attention. We spend our days around the furnaces and the presses. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit. We’re usually in grease-stained work clothes. The office is just a small room partitioned off from the main floor so we can hear ourselves talk when a customer calls. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the estate over the years, but our daily routine stays mostly the same. We start early, get the heat up, and start working the steel. There are stacks of raw billets in the yard and finished forgings waiting to be shipped out. Sometimes the rain makes the roof leak a little in the corner, but we just put a bucket under it and keep going. It’s about getting the work done and making sure the forgings are the right shape. We aren't much for fancy talk. We just work with steel and try to stay productive until the sun goes down and we can finally lock up.
