Abdul & Company

Down at 74 Sampath Salai, that’s where Abdul & Company sits. It’s on the EVK Sampath Road stretch, which is usually a bit of a mess with traffic and people. The building at number 74 has seen better days, the plaster is peeling in a few spots, but it holds up fine. We don't do anything fancy here, just run the company and handle the daily tasks. It’s mostly paperwork and boxes and trying to stay organized in a small space. The street noise is constant, you get used to the horns and the shouting after a week or two. Abdul is usually around, or one of the other guys is leaning by the door. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just show up, do the work, and go home. EVK Sampath Road is a good place for business because there's always someone looking for something. We’ve had this spot at 74 Sampath Salai for years. Sometimes the rain floods the curb a bit and we have to put out sandbags, but that’s just how it goes. The interior is a bit dark, but we have a few good fans that keep the air moving. It’s not the kind of place you see in a magazine, but it’s our place and it works for us. We just try to keep things moving along without too much trouble from the busy street outside.
