Aadil Ashfaque & Co

Our office is in Flat No: 26 on the first floor of Rams Square. It’s easy to find because it’s right next to the Indian Bank on Village Road in Nungambakkam. It’s a bit of a funny setup, being in what used to be a residential flat, but it works for us. We’ve turned the living room into the main workspace, and the smaller rooms are for storage and more private meetings. Aadil Ashfaque & Co is the kind of place where the door is usually open if it’s not too hot outside. The traffic on Village Road is pretty much constant, so there’s always a background hum of cars and buses. We have a few plants on the balcony that we forget to water sometimes, but they seem to survive anyway. It feels more like a home than an office, which makes the long hours a bit easier to handle. Customers often get confused by the layout at first, but they quickly settle into the chairs we’ve got scattered around. We spend a lot of time looking at papers and talking through different options. It’s a busy neighborhood, and there’s always somewhere to grab a quick bite nearby when we don't have time for a proper break. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters, just a solid place where we do our business every day. We just try to get the work right for every person who walks in.
