Aacian Landscape

Our office is in the RM Towers on Chamiers Road in Teynampet. We are at No 108. It’s a busy building in a busy part of Chennai. While the office is inside a tower, our minds are usually outside. We deal with plants, soil, and outdoor spaces all day long. Sometimes we come back to the office with mud on our boots, which probably doesn't make the cleaning staff very happy. We’ve got maps and site surveys spread out across the desks. Landscaping is a bit different from regular architecture because things are always growing and changing. We have to think about what a garden will look like in five years, not just on the day it’s finished. Teynampet is a central spot, so it’s easy for us to get to projects all over the city. We aren't the type of people who wear suits to work. We’re more comfortable in rugged clothes and sun hats. The office is really just where we handle the paperwork and meet with clients to show them plant lists. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just try to make the outside areas look decent and stay healthy. It’s a lot of manual work and planning. We’ve been at it for a while and have seen many seasons come and go from this office.
