A F Noman and Co has been operating out of 98 Broadway for a long time. We are right near the MMI Medical Centre in the Parrys area. If you have ever been to Parrys, you know it is one of the busiest and most crowded parts of the city. There is constant noise from the traffic and people walking by our front door at all hours. Our shop is a bit old-fashioned, with tall shelves and wooden counters that have seen a lot of use. We like it that way because it feels right for the kind of trade we do. We are not interested in looking like one of those modern showrooms with glass walls. We have stacks of items and old ledgers that we still use to keep track of things. It can get a bit dusty with all the papers and the street air coming in, but it is a real, working place. The staff here has been with us for years, and they know where every single item is hidden in the back rooms. Parrys is a place where people come to find things they cannot get anywhere else, and we try to be that kind of shop. Dealing with the heat and the crowds every day can be tiring, but it is just the life of a Broadway business. We do not have a fancy website. People mostly just walk in or call us on the landline like they always have.
