You can find A. Ahmed & Co. at number 45 Kottur Sadayappan Street. We are located in the Periamet area, which is a very old and established part of Chennai. If you’ve ever been to Periamet, you know it has a very specific feel to it. The streets are narrow, and it’s always crowded with shops and people. We’ve been in this building for quite a long time. It’s an old structure with a lot of character, though it’s definitely seen better days. We work out of our space here every day except Sundays. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but once you find Kottur Sadayappan Street, we aren't too hard to spot. The neighborhood is full of small businesses like ours. There’s a lot of history in these walls. We aren't the kind of place with a big shiny lobby or air conditioning in every room. We just have our workspace and our storage areas. It gets quite hot during the Chennai summers, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We handle a lot of different things throughout the day, mostly just keeping the business running and talking to people who drop by. It’s a simple way of life. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just here doing our job in Periamet. We’ve known the people on this street for years and it feels like home.
