Vansar Impex Private Limited is based on the first floor at #56, 7th Avenue in Pallava Garden. This is over in Zamin Pallavaram, which is a part of Chennai that is always bustling. Our office is not anything too grand, just a regular first-floor space where we manage our import and export business. Being in Chennai, we are pretty close to the ports and the airport, which makes the logistics side of things a bit easier to handle. The office can get a bit noisy because of the traffic on 7th Avenue, but you get used to it after a while. We spend a lot of time on the computer, tracking shipments and talking to vendors. It is mostly just keeping track of schedules and making sure the documentation is in order. We do not have a big reception area or a team of secretaries. If the phone rings, one of us just picks it up. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the files, and other days it feels like everyone is calling at once. It is a simple way to earn a living. We have stayed in Pallava Garden because the rent is fair and the location works for the kind of moving and shaking we do. We are just a local business trying to keep things straightforward and honest with everyone we deal with. It is hard work, but we are used to it.
