Thikson Seafood is over in Samundeeshwari Nagar, right off Thalambur Road. We are at No B 2/387 on the 2nd street. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, though the road gets a bit dusty when there's construction nearby. We started this place because we wanted to work for ourselves and seafood is what we knew. It isn't a huge operation. We spend most of our time in the back, making sure everything is handled right. The humidity in Kancheepuram can be tough, especially when you are dealing with fresh stock. We’ve had to fix the cooling units a few times this year, which was a real headache. But we manage. Most of the people working here live just a short walk away. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We just want to do right by the orders we get. The shop is tucked away a little, so if you are looking for us, look for the sign near the corner of 2nd street. Sometimes it's a bit chaotic when the deliveries come in at the same time. You end up with crates everywhere. But we get through it. We aren't big on fancy words or presentations. We just get the seafood ready and send it out. It’s a decent living and it keeps us out of trouble. Just a regular local business in the Navallur area, trying to get things done without making a big deal about it.
