Our hospital and research centre is based right in SRM NAGAR. It’s a large campus and most people who live around here know exactly where we are located. Since it is both a medical college and a hospital, there is a lot of activity happening every day. From early in the morning, you see students heading to their classes and patients arriving for their appointments. We also have a dedicated wing for research, where things are a bit quieter but just as busy. It’s a big area, so you have to do quite a bit of walking to get from one department to another. We have several buildings for different types of medical care. The staff here is used to the pace and the number of people coming through the doors. It’s not a fancy place with lots of decorations; it was built to be useful and to handle a lot of work. You’ll hear the usual hospital sounds and see doctors and nurses rushing around. People come from all over the region to visit us. Managing all the different parts, from the classrooms to the hospital beds, takes a lot of coordination. It’s a very grounded environment where everyone has a job to do. We don’t use any special marketing talk. It’s just about treating people who are sick and teaching the students who will be the next doctors. Every day has its own set of problems to solve, and we just work through them together. It's a long day for everyone, but we're used to it.
