We are located at 301/B in Arul Nagar, which is part of the Kuduvancheri area. Our space is mostly taken up by supplies and various goods we distribute. There are shelves lining every wall and sometimes we have to use a ladder to reach the stuff at the top. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of chairs and a computer that’s a few years old. We spend most of our time on the phone or talking to delivery drivers who come and go through the main gate. Arul Nagar is a decent place to work, though the roads can get a bit muddy when the monsoon hits. We have a small porch where we keep some of the heavier crates. It’s not a fancy setup, just a practical one for running an enterprise like this. We handle a lot of paperwork every day to keep track of what’s coming in and what’s heading out to customers. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two and we just wait it out or use flashlights to find things. People know us by the sign out front and we’ve become a regular part of the local scene. We don't really do much advertising; the work just comes in and we get it done. It’s a lot of lifting and sorting, but it keeps us on our toes and the days go by fast enough when there are orders to fill.
