Sri Saravana Store

Sri Saravana Store is right here on GST Road in Urapakkam. We’ve been at number 12 for a while now. The road gets really busy with all the cars and trucks passing by, but we stay focused on what’s inside. Every morning starts about the same. We unlock the shutters, sweep the front bit of the floor, and start checking what needs to be put on the shelves. It’s mostly just us keeping things organized. People from around Urapakkam stop in when they need something quick or if they’re just passing through on their way somewhere else. It gets dusty because of the main road, so there is a lot of cleaning to do throughout the day. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a regular place where we keep the items stacked up where people can see them. Sometimes the deliveries come late, and we have to shuffle things around to make room. It’s a lot of standing and moving boxes. We know the neighbors and the other shopkeepers around here. The building isn't brand new, but it works for what we do. We just try to keep the stock replenished and make sure the lights are on when they should be. It’s steady work, and we just keep at it day after day without much fuss.
