Sri Mahaabargavi Chitfunds Private Limited operates out of the Mayura Complex on Ocheri Road in Panapakkam. The office is specifically at New No.196/A, which used to be Old No.SF/45/3, up on the first floor. It can be a bit confusing for people who haven't visited us before because of the change in numbers, but once you find the Mayura Complex, it’s easy. We are located right in the thick of things on Ocheri Road. The office itself is a modest space. We have some old filing cabinets and a desk that’s seen better days. We do all our chit fund work right here, surrounded by stacks of forms and registers. The light in the office is a bit dim in the corners, but we have enough lamps to see what we are writing. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, which is always busy with people going to and from Panapakkam. We have a small bench for people to sit on while they wait. It’s not the most comfortable, but it does the job. Most of our day is spent talking to people who come in to pay their dues or ask questions. We don’t use any complicated words or try to act like a big bank. We are just a local office helping out with local savings in a way that’s been done for years.
