Our place is at No.131 on the Kelambakkam Main Roadkolappakkam. If you know this area, you know how much it has changed lately with all the new buildings coming up. We are right there in the middle of it. Sharmilapriya Nidhi Limited is basically a place for local people to put their savings. It’s a simple office, nothing like the big glass buildings you see in the city. We have a counter, some chairs for people to wait, and our computer setup to keep track of everything. The road outside is always noisy with cars and bikes heading toward the IT corridor or back to the suburbs. We get a lot of people who work nearby or live in the new apartments popping up. They come in to talk about small loans or how to start a savings plan. We aren't trying to be anything fancy; we just do the basic financial work that people need. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty because of all the construction nearby, but we just clean up and keep going. We know the value of a rupee and we treat everyone’s money with respect. It’s hard work for everyone these days, and we just provide a practical spot for folks in Kolappakkam to manage their cash. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a sales team. We just stay at our desks and wait for the regulars to walk in through the door. It is a very normal office.
