We set up our office at No. 12/1 on North Street in Visur. It’s not a very big town, so most people know where North Street is without needing a map. We handle chit funds, which is basically just helping people save together in a group. It’s an old way of doing things, but it works well for the folks around here. Our office is pretty basic. We have some wooden chairs for when people come in to wait their turn and a big desk where we keep the main ledger. We don't have a website or any of that fancy stuff; we just talk to people face to face. Dealing with money requires a lot of trust, so we try to be as clear as possible about how the chit cycles work. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to hear ourselves talk because of the roof, but we get by. We aren't trying to expand into some massive company. We are happy right here in Visur, serving the people we see at the market every week. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We don't have any slick sales pitches. We just tell you the dates and the amounts, and that’s that. It’s a honest way to make a living and help the community keep their savings moving. Most people find us through word of mouth and that's fine by us.
