S S Provisional Store

S S Provisional Store is located right on GST Road in Madurantakam, at 8/36. Being on GST Road means we see a lot of people passing through town. We sell all the usual things you would expect to find in a provisional store. Soap, flour, oil, snacks—you name it, we probably have it tucked away on a shelf somewhere. The store isn't very big, and it can feel a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once, but it works for us. We don't have any big corporate goals or fancy mission statements posted on the wall. We just want to make sure the shelves are stocked and that people can find what they need for their homes. Madurantakam is a good place to be, and we like the people here. We open up early and stay open until the sun goes down. Sometimes we stay later if someone needs something last minute. It’s a lot of standing around and talking to customers, which I don’t mind. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. People come here because we are convenient and they know us by name. It’s a bit of a simple existence, but it keeps the family fed and gives us a reason to get up in the morning. That’s really all there is to S S Provisional Store. It is just a local shop for local people.
