Motherson Automotive Technology And Engineering is located at C-14 A B in Sector-1. It’s a large facility where we handle a lot of automotive parts and engineering tasks. Even though the name sounds quite big, the day-to-day on the floor is just about getting the parts right. We have many machines running at the same time, and the staff is always busy moving components around. Sector-1 is a well-known area for this kind of work, so we are surrounded by other technical units. The plant stays pretty active across different shifts. We don’t have a lot of time for sitting around. Most of the people working here are technicians who have been in the auto industry for a long time. They know how the molds and the metal should look. We don’t really do retail sales or anything like that; we mainly work with other big companies who need specific parts for cars or machines. The office part is just there for the paperwork and payroll, but the real work happens in the back where the noise is. It can get quite hot in the summer months, but we have big fans to keep the air moving. It’s just a standard engineering plant where people show up, do their shift, and make sure the quality is what it needs to be. It is hard work, but it keeps the industry going. We focus on the daily output and the machines.
